For the editor: When a political party has nothing to offer people to make life better, then it has to find boogeymen, and Republicans have plenty of them. They include Radical Left, Snowflakes, CRT, Antifa, Woke, Vote Fraud, Defund the Police, Cancel Culture and more, with a little added racism.
While such trivialities distract from policies that can help people, important issues that affect us all are being attacked or ignored by Republicans. The world, they claim, is unaffected by global warming. Our democracy is not attacked by the insurrection of January 6, nor by the suppression of the right to vote. Their anti-vaccine stance is costing lives.
