Govt won’t let any political party, group hold the state hostage: PM – Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz and Fazlur Rehman discussed the political and general situation in the country during a meeting.









ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leader and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman called Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday, Dunya News reported .

According to sources, the political and general situation in the country was discussed at the meeting. They also discussed issues related to PDM’s performance in the recent by-elections.

The reasons for the defeat of the PDM and the victory of Imran Khan in the by-election were also discussed. The two leaders also agreed that they would not be intimidated by anyone’s threat.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said the government would not let any political party, gang or armed group attack the federal capital or hold the state hostage.
