Guang had a hatred of the rich who flaunted their wealth on social media, so he wanted to teach the rich a lesson.
Guang confessed that he committed another robbery – on November 25, 2021, they robbed the owner of Borey Mondani in Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province, but did not succeed because on the day of the operation , the victim was not in the car they stole.
Following the opening of the trial this morning, the court has decided to resume the trial of William Guang and his associates on June 9, 2022.
The former chairman of the Khmer Rouge Party and his current faction have been remanded in custody at Prey Sar prison.
